As a Sacramento first year baby photographer, I created The First Year Collective to honor this fleeting season with intention and care. From the anticipation of pregnancy to the wonder of first steps, this membership preserves your baby’s story in a way that feels unrushed, deeply personal, and lasting.
It’s all in the details
The Collective is an 18-month portrait membership that includes three to four full Heirloom Sessions, thoughtfully spaced to preserve each meaningful chapter of your baby’s first year and beyond.
You’re invited to curate the journey that feels right for your family. Many clients choose a combination such as maternity, newborn, sitter, and one-year, while others focus on newborn and milestone sessions. There is no pressure to do it all, only the freedom to choose what matters most to you.
Sessions may take place in my light-filled studio, in the comfort of your home, or outdoors in one of Northern California’s beautiful natural settings.
The Collective Membership
Membership Fee: $1200
This fee covers your professional hair and makeup for each full session and unlocks an elevated, priority experience from beginning to end.
As a Collective Member, you’ll receive:
- Three to four full Heirloom Sessions over 18 months
- Professional hair and makeup for each full session
Priority booking and scheduling - Priority gallery delivery
- Access to exclusive offerings and member-only events
- Mini milestone sessions available monthly at a special member rate
- A complimentary Santa Session & Motherhood Session during your membership
- Preferred pricing on artwork and digital collections
Digital images and heirloom artwork are purchased separately after each session, allowing you to choose exactly how your memories are preserved as your story unfolds.

HEIRLOOM IMAGES FOR GENERATIONS
A celebration of everything this year has held. Timeless portraits paired with playful elements such as a simple cake smash, bubbles, or wooden toys. These images are perfect for first birthday celebrations and heirloom artwork.
Preserving Your Story
After each session, you’ll view your images through a curated proofing gallery and select the artwork and digital images that best reflect your family’s story.
Many Collective families choose to create a final heirloom album or a growing wall collection over time, transforming these fleeting moments into something tangible, meaningful, and lasting.
