Baby photography has my heart. I loved having this sweet boy in the studio to photograph his 1-year milestone. He looked absolutely adorable in the outfits borrowed from the studio wardrobe. We usually start our sessions with a little playtime to allow little ones to feel comfortable in the studio, and honestly, these are often my favorite images. These simple images in a diaper cover on my white bed are simplistic and sweet.
Put on a pair of overalls and oh my word, simple wooden toys do not overwhelm the photos but give baby something new to explore. Just look at those big blue eyes, long eyelashes, and sweet whispy hair.
Add this little button-up shirt and short set with suspenders, oh man do I wish my 12 year old would still let me dress him like this. His chubby legs are so cute.
Add a cake! This is usually the shortest part of the session, it only takes a few minutes to get some sweet photos of your little one enjoying their cake. In truth, 50% of babies are not even interested! Obviously, this was not the case here…
After all of that sugar and frosting a bath is in order, another favorite image with parents, imagine one of these framed in your bathroom! This was BY FAR his favorite part of the session. He splashed and SOAKED the floor. Such a fun way to clean up and get ready to go.
